Here’s a new track from Childish Gambino called “The Longest Text Message”. On the flip side of the highest of the high on love there’s these situations. Great idea for a song. Talk about something you do a lot when you’re in love: text. One time I had a girlfriend call me out in front of her parents for being the reason for them getting charged so much for texts. Oh, and this was the first time I met them. I was supa blown. Thanks for that babe. Childish Gambino is the perfect mix of funny and just plain good at rapping. He could make some noise with this music thing. Watch out Drake, theres a new actor turnt sanger/rapper.

The L Word

No I’m not talking Lesbian. Although for some strange reason my dad tells me he loves the show The L Word. I dunno, maybe there’s some hidden wisdom in that show I need to discover. I’m talking Love. We’re talking “loveyou” by Handbook. This track has the trademark Handbook sound. Light and fresh, with a great drum kit that’s sure to get you movin some part of your body. It has an ethereal, positive vibration type feel that is reminiscent of the highest of the high on love feeling.

Ain’t It Peculiar?

Marvin Gaye. What a boss. He made a whole generation of women wet. No one compares. Okay, maybe Otis or Barry. RIP Otis, Barry and Marvin. Even though you will never hear a new Marvin Gaye song, his voice can still be used as a dope vocal sample in a track. Ambassadeurs is a DJ from Brighton and this is his remix of Marvin Gaye’s song “Ain’t That Peculiar”.

I remember when my boy (and our newest writer) Drew first showed me B.o.B. way long ago and I thought he was a pretty good rapper. He has good flow and can make use of good wordplay in his songs. Unfortunately he sold out quicker than his peers such as Wale, Wiz, and J. Cole. But don’t let it fool you, just because he’s in pink cardigans spittin weak verses on radio edited songs, that doesn’t mean he won’t destroy you on a track. This is B.o.B.’s response to shots taken at him by Odd Future. The track is appropriately titled “No Future.

Someone Please Get The Drummer Some

So Travis Barker has this new album. I thought the first single would be nasty but it sounded pretty much like a DJ Khaled song without his annoying ass voice all over the track. Afterwards I was wondering where the hell Travis was in the track. Well apparently Diplo had similar feelings and felt he could really turn this track around. Respect. Here’s his remix of “Can The Drummer Get Some?”

Out of Finland. A new act. Can you say Strokes? I think so. These guys are dope. It’s the kinda music that makes me realize that, despite all the cold, summer is coming and everything is gonna be all good. Cold weather go away, I’m waitin’ for mister summer to come my way. Yes Please! Good music in the buildin’ here ya’ll. Enjoy the track. Have a great day. More this afternoon!

Hello Friends. I’m recovering. My head feels like there’s a tiny man inside working with a jackhamer on a chalkboard. It’s awlful. Thank god for music. Right? This song is from The Dirty Trees and it’s a basethumpin’ beat. So hot. Lovin’ this track. I think you will too. Throw it on. Take a shower and have an amazing start to your day. These guys are the real deal people.
